An exceptional richness!
Soil complexity
The terroirs cultivated by our winegrowers extend over Beblenheim and the surrounding towns as well as in the Dorlisheim sector where we have a second grape harvester. The heart of our Beblenheim vineyard is located in the geological continuity of the Ribeauvillé fault which gives our terroirs all their richness and diversity.
Dorlisheim area
Shallow marly-calcareous soils, rich in limestone pebbles. The basements are hard and composed of Muschelkalk and Lettenkohle. They give saline wines with a nice acid frame supporting a nice length in the mouth.
Beblenheim area
At the end of the Ribeauvillé limestone fault, the easternmost terroirs of Beblenheim produce expressive, rich and balanced wines. Plots closer to the Vosges produce fresher, more polished wines.
